26+2 is known as Bikram Yoga or in some circles, the original Hot Yoga practiced in a room of 105 degrees and 40% humidity. The classes are 90 minutes long and involve a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in the same sequence every time you enter the hot room. The benefits of 26+2 Yoga are many including weight loss, detoxification, increased lung capacity, improved muscle tone, improved sleep patterns, relief from seasonal allergies, and injury prevention. ? Because even the bravest of the yoga warrior needs to yield and rest sometimes! A Yin Yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.
